Screening for ADHD, Autistic Spectrum & Sensory Processing Conditions

Do you wonder if things you struggle with day to day are the result of having a different neurotype?

Are already on a waiting list for assessment but know it will take years until you are seen?

We can offer screening for ADHD, Autistic Spectrum and Sensory Processing Conditions and give you an informed opinion on whether further assessment and investigation is needed.

Some adults who have struggled all of their lives have advised that they don't need an NHS diagnosis, they simply want to know if there is something different about how their brains work and support and validation of their struggles.

Sensory Integration-Informed Treatment Approach

Have you been described as fussy, hyperactive, unable to sit still, clumsy, overly sensitive or uncoordinated?

Do people tell you you over or underreact to loud noises, the sounds of people chewing, bright lights or clothing tags?

Do you prefer to eat only a small selection of foods because of their texture?

Do you hide away when feeling stressed or feel the need to bounce your legs, rock or tap your fingers to feel calmer?

Do these elements affect your ability to live your life to the fullest?

Then you may have sensory processing issues.  Assessment will analyse your responses and preferences to all 8 senses (yes there are actually 8!) and help devise strategies that can help you manage in your day to day life.
